What this is

Mainstay is a directory of freelancers. You browse it, you read whoever looks right — their rate, the hours they have free, what they work in, what they have shipped, and the record of every weekly check they have kept — and when you want to talk to one of them you spend a reveal and get their email address, their phone number and their portfolio link.

From there you deal with them directly. Nothing you agree passes through us.

Who may buy

Access is sold to clients outside the European Union, and inside it to businesses that can produce a VAT number which validates. An EU customer without one cannot subscribe, and checkout says so.

Who is listed

Freelancers anywhere in the world, who joined themselves, wrote their own description, verified their identity against a government-issued document, and answer a weekly check. We call them Mainstayers, because that is what the check is for. There is no country rule. Nobody is scraped onto this register. A Mainstayer can unpublish their own record from their account at any time, and a record that goes quiet leaves every list a client sees.

hello@uwork.asia reaches a person. If something on a record is wrong, every record carries its own report link and that is the fastest route. How we verify describes exactly what the checks do and what they do not.
